        The Bad Axe Animal Medical Clinic has a highly skilled and professionially trained groomer. Her name is Chris.
        Chris graduated from grooming school in Virginia after an intensive five month training course. She logged in over 500 hours under the careful scrutiny of six grooming instructors.
        After graduation, Chris worked for two years in a busy pet salon where she honed her grooming skills. She adds a new dimension to our grooming department with both skilled training and valuable on the job experience.
        Chris is waiting to serve you and your pet. She bathes and trims all breeds of large or small dogs and long haired cats.
        From a simple bath, brush, and blow-dry to a stylish trim Chris strives to please.

All pets are handled with a lot of patience. We want your animal to enjoy the experience and actually feel refreshed when going home.

Because our groomers work closely with our veterinarians, you may request a mild sedative for cranky pets. On these rare occasions, a sedative enables our groomers to do a better job and avoid upsetting your animal.

As a special service to our grooming clients, you can schedule vaccine updates, heartworm tests, or a physical exam while your pet is being groomed. This is especially handy for busy clients that can't find time for a regular clinic appointment.

When examined by the doctor, your pet will go home with a special REPORT CARD. This detailed physical exam form will outline our findings and any treatment recommendations.
